The "Twilight Moms" University Study

A reader of the March 27 post (below) emailed me to report that researchers at the University of Missouri-Columbia are conducting a survey of Twilight obsessives. (There's one questionnaire for adults, another for teens.) Among the goals of the research is to learn about "the extent to which your interest in Twilight has disrupted and/or extended other activities in your life." (Oh my God, they know!)

If you're interested in participating—and spending at least 20 minutes answering questions about Edward—try this link, www.surveymonkey.com/twilightadults, or read the post about the study at TwilightMoms.com.

Thanks for posting the info I sent you about the Twilight Moms website and the survey. I was thrilled to find your article at Momscape.com about mothers in love with Edward Cullen. I bought the book on sale at a Sam's Club only because I had heard about the movie. (I missed it in theaters.) I had no idea how I would get so sucked in to the books. I'm glad I'm not alone in this bizarre obsession. I loved reading the books and I love reading about them.

Thank you Lynn: I was thrilled to get your email and learn about the study. Thanks, too, for visiting the blog. No, you're not alone!

20 minutes? I think I need to find 20 minutes.
